Some Pharisees and scribes came from Jerusalem and gathered around Jesus, upon seeing His disciples eat with unwashed hands, they asked Jesus, "Why do Your disciples not live their lives according to the tradition of the elders?
Most families have a peculiar tradition, trait, or character. They may include failure, untimely death, divorce, poverty, sicknesses, etc. These are perpetuated by family altars on the members of the family.
To you, the tradition in your family may be that no one goes to the university, or even when they do, they never graduate.
The only thing that can set you free from these evil traditions is the Blood of Jesus. His Blood will speak for you, it is bringing you deliverance.

Lord Jesus, deliver me from any evil tradition I find myself entangled in. I invoke the Blood of the Lamb to speak for me in Jesus' name. Amen!
