We go to God with our petitions and requests, hoping that He will answer them almost immediately yet forget to stay in His presence and seek His face diligently. God can only provide our answers and manifest His glory into our lives when we are positioned at the right place at the right time in alignment with His will.
I want to assure you today that your blessings from God goes beyond physical inheritance and tangible assets. Covenant blessings also give you deliverance from your enemies, and restores in multiple-fold whatever you may have lost.
God, however, gives us an assurance: He will make a way even under such difficult conditions. He creates a new path in the wilderness so you can be guided through it. He provides water in the desert so your thirst is quenched.
Look for the mercies of God. Let that be your daily prayer. The attainment of this mercy will bring you other desires of your heart. This is the very key you are looking for. When you find God's mercy, you find His riches. May God's mercy be seen in your life.
You invoke God's mercy when God is angry with you because of a sin you've committed. When you are physically sick and weak and death is threatening your life, that is when you invoke God's mercy. Invoke God's mercy anytime you get to your wit's end. The solution is neither suicide, alcohol nor drugs.
Goodness and mercy are spiritual entities that respond to your call. They have the ability to follow you. Don't be too sure that if mercy follows you today, it will follow you tomorrow. God showing you mercy today is not a guarantee that you will receive the same mercy tomorrow. There is something you need to do to activate it. This is by invoking it on a daily basis.
It doesn’t matter what your adversaries throw at you, they shall not prevail! For whatever valley of the shadow of persecution you walk through, GOD is with you. His rod and staff will comfort you (Psalm 23:4).
Jacob had received news that his brother Esau was charging towards his camp with four hundred men. He was afraid and did not know what the future held for him and his family. Unknown to Jacob, God had already taken control of the future.
Where your own strength fails, lean on God. We are told in II Corinthians 2:9 that, ”My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.”
Everyone has a situation in their lives that represents their leprosy. These are unwanted circumstances that cause you shame, or cause people to reject you. Very often, when we go through these situations, we feel just as ostracised as the lepers; we feel inadequate.
