THE SHADOW OF GOOD THINGS TO COME (Seeing with Faith)

“For thus says the Lord: ‘You shall not see wind, nor shall you see rain; yet that valley shall be filled with water, so that you, your cattle, and your animals may drink.’”

‭‭II Kings‬ ‭3:17‬ ‭NKJV‬‬‬‬‬‬

It is very hard, with our human mind, to look at a hazy picture and believe it’s a pre-figure of an object we are longing for. After seasons of waiting our vision becomes blurry. Faith, however, is the ability to keep believing that what you hope for will be received. We tend to give up or look elsewhere when expectations take a very long time to manifest. We start chasing other sources and looking to other people rather than holding God by His Word and thereby end up losing the real object. We can keep our faith in God when we:

1. Pray and study the Word. Just like Daniel, keep praying till you see the manifestation.

2. Wait on the Lord. Keep your focus on the reason you are waiting. Don’t get distracted by how long it’s taking.

3. Don’t forsake the gathering of the saints. When you go into a church service, you hear messages that encourage you to keep up your faith.

The devil is always fighting shadows. He wants you to shift your gaze so he can steal your testimony. He comes to you with sabotaging thoughts that make the journey harder. But don't give up. Open your heart and continue to trust in the Lord. Your miracle is just around the corner. Keep praying on every dream, prophecy, desire and promise that has been made to you. He is God and what He has done before, He can do again.

I pray, that the Lord removes every scale from your eyes. May your eyes open to see what is coming, in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Stay blessed!
