THE GRACE TO FINISH(Voice of Covenant)

“Then Joshua charged them at that time, saying, “Cursed be the man before the Lord who rises up and builds this city Jericho; he shall lay its foundation with his firstborn, and with his youngest he shall set up its gates.”” Joshua 6:26
Generations after this curse was spoken, Hiel, the man who rebuilt Jericho, reaped its rewards. He did not finish well. His children died.
In his undertaking to rebuild the city, he did not seek the face of God to lift the curse.
On the other hand, Zerubbabel, in rebuilding Jerusalem, actively sought God and consulted with the prophets. His end? Covenant spoke for him and the project was successful. Jerusalem was rebuilt without any losses.
The voice of GOD speaks for those who establish a covenant with Him. Covenant spoke for Rahab, ensuring the security of her household.
Establishing a covenant with God means He is with you and will be with you always. This is the secret to your safety and success. Not just for you but for your generations.
May your covenant with God continue to speak for you and your household even as we end the year. You shall finish well in Jesus's name. Amen
