“Now before they lay down, she came up to them on the roof, and said to the men: “I know that the Lord has given you the land… for the Lord your God, He is God in heaven above and on the earth beneath.”

Joshua‬ ‭2‬:‭8‬-‭9‬,11 NKJV‬‬ Joshua had sent two spies to Jericho to spy the land ahead of Israel’s invasion. To avoid capture, they hid in Rahab’s house. When the King sent word to Rahab to bring the men to him, she protected them and ensured they were safe. Rahab did this because she had caught a revelation. She knew who they were; she knew that soon the land would be theirs, and she knew the might and power of the God of Israel. By this revelation, she understood that she needed to pitch camp with them for her preservation and that of her family. By virtue of the help she gave them, she and her family were protected. In order to do anything successfully, you need revelation. You need a revelation regarding the choice of a spouse, job, degree and every sphere of your life. Otherwise, you risk making the wrong choices. Jesus tells us in Matthew 16:17 that such revelation comes from God: “Blessed are you, Simon Bar-Jonah, for flesh and blood has not revealed this to you, but My Father who is in heaven.” Therefore, you need to continually pray for God to reveal your next step and how you can stay out of destruction. I declare that this week, you shall receive a life changing revelation in Jesus’ name. Amen!
