PRESENCE OF GOD (I will be with you)

“As I was with Moses, so I will be with you; I will never leave you nor forsake you.” Joshua 1:5 NIV Joshua was brought up by a powerful leader called Moses. Joshua had witnessed all the signs and wonders God did through Moses. He saw the partitioning of the red sea, food falling from the sky to feed people and was a live witness to the 10 plagues of Egypt. Fast forward, God tells Joshua to rise and take possession of the promised land with His people. Joshua may have been a bit apprehensive about taking over a patriarch's position, but God gave Joshua His word that, as He was with Moses so shall He be with him. There comes a time in your life when you are faced with challenges, troubles and problems. Like Joshua, amid the uncertainties, God reminds us of His love and reassures us of His presence that He never forsakes His children. What God means when He says He is with you: 1. It's an assurance of God's tangible presence. 2. It expresses the eternal nature of God. 3. You will never be overtaken by life's challenges. #Prayer Thank you for your presence with me always. Continually order and guide my steps. Above all, may I experience the glory of your presence in Jesus’ name. Amen.
