HONOURING A FATHER (The Father’s Anointing)

“Therefore Eli said to Samuel, “Go, lie down; and it shall be, if He calls you, that you must say, ‘Speak, Lord, for Your servant hears.’ ” So Samuel went and lay down in his place.”
I Samuel 3:9 NKJV
Samuel was a young servant at the Lord’s temple at Shiloh under the guidance of the High Priest Eli. When the Lord appeared to Samuel, it was Eli who discerned the situation and taught him how to respond to the call. This highlights the importance of the anointing of a father.
God gives fathers a perculiar anointing and His Spirit to enable them sit on the throne with authority and purpose.
This anointing empowers them to lead and guide their children to God, and to help them identify their purpose in Christ. It will be difficult for you to live the life God has called you to live when you dishonour the anointing God has placed over your father.
Like Samuel, you should respect the anointing of the father. May the anointing establish you and bring you miracles with ease in the name of Jesus.
