HERE COME THE LEPERS (Your avenue for elevation)

#SamKorankyeAnkrah

“And when these lepers came to the outskirts of the camp, they went into one tent and ate and drank, and carried from it silver and gold and clothing, and went and hid them.”
‭‭II Kings‬ ‭7‬:‭8‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Leprosy was a condition that caused people to be ostracised and rejected by society. People suffering from it were not permitted to live among the community.

Around this time, there was a famine in Samaria. The four lepers therefore decided to surrender to the Syrian army, as it seemed like their death was imminent. When they arrived at the Syrian camp, they discovered it was empty, with their possessions left behind.

Everyone has a situation in their lives that represents their leprosy. These are unwanted circumstances that cause you shame, or cause people to reject you. Very often, when we go through these situations, we feel just as ostracised as the lepers; we feel inadequate.

However, I want you to know that your leprosy is an avenue for God to bring you to a place of elevation. In your failures and setbacks, God is creating opportunities to elevate you. But for their leprosy, the four men would have remained in the city to suffer and die from the famine. However, due to their marginalisation, they were forced out and came upon a fortune.

In your most hopeless moments, God will show you an abundance of grace. What you consider to be your greatest failure, is simply a conduit for God to take you to your next level.

I declare over your life, that what brings you shame, will be the very thing to cause you to celebrate in the name of Jesus.
#Amen.
