“And they rose at twilight to go to the camp of the Syrians; and when they had come to the outskirts of the Syrian camp, to their surprise no one was there.”
II Kings 7:5 NKJV
Leprosy was a condition that caused people to be marginalised and excluded from society. However, the lepers did not allow their weakness to rule them. Despite their infirmity, they boldly went into the Syrian camp, which brought an end to the famine.
Everyone has a situation in their lives that represents their leprosy. These are weaknesses that cause you shame and rejection. Wherever you have a weakness, you must not allow it to define you. Rather, your weakness should be overcome by a spirit of boldness: the boldness to claim victory even in your leprosy.
Where your own strength fails, lean on God. We are told in II Corinthians 2:9 that, “”My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.”
Do not view your weaknesses as a failing. On the contrary, your weaknesses are where God shines through best. I declare that every weakness will be overpowered by the spirit of boldness, causing you to reach greater and higher heights in Jesus’ name. Amen
