HE IS NOT HERE (You shall overcome the setback)
“But they found the stone rolled away from the tomb.”
Luke 24:2 NKJV
Jesus was put in a tomb after He died. And the entrance to the tomb covered and sealed with a stone.
Why did they seal it with a stone?
This was because they heard Him say He would rise again. They wanted to hinder His resurrection.
They put the stone in front of Jesus's tomb so that He wouldn't be able to fulfill his destiny.
Their intention was to prevent the miracle of His resurrection from happening. That was why they put a physical barrier. Little did they know that He was a man of the spirit, and their physical block could not prevent His resurrection.
Many of us find ourselves in circumstances where we see a physical barrier or a limitation to our dreams and goals. It could be at your workplace, school or family; where you see that something keeps crossing you when an opportunity springs up. It is setback. Maybe this has discouraged you or caused you to lose hope.
I want you to know that just as Jesus overcame that limitation, that barrier to his truimpant resurrection, so will you overcome that setback.
