HE ANOINTS MY HEAD (Anointing to Govern)

"Then the men of Judah came, and there they anointed David king over the house of Judah..."
II Samuel 2:4 NKJV
God had instructed David to go to Hebron in Judah, and there, he was anointed, for the second time, to be the king of Judah. This set in motion the fulfillment of God's prophecies in 1 Samuel chapter 16.
Interestingly, this time, it was the people of Judah who anointed him as their king and according to verse 10, the tribe of Judah was loyal to David and he ruled for 7 years.
Anointing brings rulership and authority. It brings divine selection and causes people to appoint you as their leader. It also gives you the power and authority over everything.
Kingship and rulership are well sustained when one is anointed. Therefore I pray for you, that like David, may you be selected even where you don't physically qualify. May the anointing place you in a place of authority and power in the name of Jesus.
