News » Week of the altar(2012) Day 7

Truly the Lord God is great, hearing the cry of His sons and daughters and delivering them from all oppressions. Day seven of week of the altar saw a great manifestation of the power of God.

The servant of the Lord, speaking from Exodus 13:17-21 expounds on the incident which led to God taking the people of Israel through the wilderness and not through the land of the Philistines which could have being a shorter way to the promise land. He explains that the fear of the Israelites propelled this action. In this year we must indeed be bold to get to the destination God has destined for us.

He also explains the essence of God’s glory and how it is vital in the life of the believer. Finally, he showed through scripture how that God is keen on keeping His promises and for that matter will by no means fail on the things He has promised to do in the lives His children.

References were taken from the following scriptures; Exodus 13:17-21, Titus 1:2, Joshua 23:14, Exodus 14:22-24.
